FACETE — Foundations & Applications of Capabilities in Enterprises, Transformations & ESG Initiatives
The International Workshop on the Foundations and Applications of Capabilities in Enterprises, and Transformations and ESG Initiatives seeks to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of capability mapping, a pivotal tool in Enterprise Architecture and transformations.
The workshop aims to consolidate divergent perspectives on the scientific foundations of capability mapping—its ontology, meta-models, and notations—and seeks empirical studies into its practical applications, notably in strategic and digital transformations and ESG initiatives. Accepted contributions will be the basis for active, discussion-oriented sessions, fostering collaborative research and constructive discourse.
The workshop’s ultimate goal is to strengthen the academic underpinning of capability mapping and broaden its practical applications. To realize this, the workshop will extend the call for contributions towards practitioners. With a keen focus on open discussions and practical presentations, it aims to foster a vibrant community committed to defining, understanding, and applying capability mapping in various contexts.
2nd Workshop on Advancing Enterprise Modelling through Digital Transformation, FAIR Data Management, and Blockchain Integration
This workshop examines cutting-edge methods in enterprise modeling, concentrating on digital transformation, FAIR data management, and blockchain integration. The workshop participants will engage in conversations and activities to improve their knowledge of these essential notions and their applications, such as when to apply the best practices of enterprise modeling better with the assistance of novel strategies, along with tools like FAIR principles of data management, and also with the privacy perspectives of these enterprise applications using blockchains. By exploring the convergence of these issues, this exciting workshop seeks to equip attendees with an actionable understanding and processes to push innovation and efficiency in enterprise environments. Join us to delve into the destiny of enterprise modeling and its functional implications for your organization.
Enterprise Modelling for Context Engineering Workshop
Enterprise modelling has long provided structured ways to capture organizational knowledge, enabling communication, business–IT alignment, and organizational change. Recently, the emerging field and practice of context engineering (providing AI agents with information and instructions concerning details of enterprise context) re-iterates the need for systematic representations of enterprise context to both support and control AI for digital transformation.
The EMCE workshop aims at exploring how enterprise modelling may serve as a means and foundation for context engineering—providing enterprises with tools to articulate their principles, values, and norms, while also enabling AI systems to operate in meaningful, context-aware ways. Through a semi-structured group facilitation format, EMCE participants will examine and discuss how (and why) established enterprise modelling practices can help shape AI-enabled organizational intelligence and governance.
We invite researchers and practitioners to join us in this exploration of the convergence between enterprise modelling and context engineering, and to contribute to shaping future socio-technical systems that remain aligned with human and organizational values.
General Workshop Paper Submission Guidelines
- All types of papers must be formated in CEUR 1-column format. An offline version with the style files is available from CEURART.zip.
- Each workshop is free to define its submitssion categories. The general rules that must be applied to all workshops are are follows: all papers must not exceed 15 pages; regular papers must be at least 10 pages, short papers must be at least 5 pages.
- Papers should be submitted in PDF format through easychair. Choose the track according to the workshop you aim to submit.
- The submitted papers must be unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere.
- CEUR-WS adopts a new policy about using Generative AI in papers, which mandates that authors: i) declare the use of GenAI tools in the paper, ii) review and edit any AI-generated content, and iii) not list AI tools as authors. Read more
